Academy of Prosthodontics

The Academy of Prosthodontics focuses on outreach to help communities where isolation and limited resources have resulted in untreated dental disease and loss of teeth. Through a collaboration of volunteer dentists and technicians, the academy has helped 715 patients across Alaska, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Oklahoma, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The Price Family Dental Center is proud to be a part of this outreach program and has helped serve various Native American communities in Utah with the assistance of Dr. Ed Plekavich and Dr. Geoff Thompson. In addition, we host an annual denture clinic to provide dentures to underserved members of our community. The clinic is hosted annually in September and dental work is provided by volunteer dentists and prosthodontic specialty students.
